FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What
is my Username and Password?
All students are assigned an ID Number and password upon
admittance to the university. These are mailed as part
of your admissions packet. If you have lost or
forgotten this information there are two alternatives.
1) Visit the Office of Information Technology located in
room 105 of Manuel Hall and show a picture ID -or- 2)
Contact the office by phone at (337) 550-1307 and we can
mail the information to the address you have on file.
Email.
After initially configuring your account, you will never have to enter login information again for access to
email. Did you select the wrong email service when
configuring your email? You can switch your service
from Imail to Exchange or vice versa through the Email
Portlet found on your role (Student, Faculty, etc.)
page. Remember Imail is for students and Exchange is
for Faculty, Advisors, and Staff.
myCourses.
myLSUE provides a convenient login link to myCourses.
We do not have single sign-on capabilities for
Blackboard so you will be prompted to enter your
username and password again.
How
can I access the Bulletin Boards and Group Forums?
These
features will be enabled in the near future. They will
allow organizations and offices to better communicate
with the campus community. If your campus organization
would like to establish a group please contact the
Office of Information Technology.

What
is my Username and Password?
All faculty and staff are assigned a username and
password at the time of employment. Access to myLSUE is
granted on an as needed basis. If you have lost or
forgotten your login information you have two
alternatives. 1) Visit the Office of Information
