LSUE was one
of the first schools in the country to provide users with

Where can I
use it?
Anywhere on campus including classrooms, the library, and
outside areas.
How do I get connected?
Purchase a wireless network card. The card must support the
802.11b standard. The Orinoco/Agere cards are highly
recommended but most should work. These may be purchased at
many area locations including Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, Best
Buy, etc.
Once you receive the card, bring it and your laptop to the
LSUE Office of Information Technology, Manuel Hall Room 105
for installation. See the list of requirements in the
sidebar to the right for connecting to the LSUE network.
The wireless Network will ONLY provide access while you are
on campus. It will NOT work from home.
Wireless access must be reactivated each
semester by visiting the IT Office.
